Sikorsky Australia is a subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Corporation, with 60 years of experience supporting rotary wing operators. Our main facility in Nowra supports the Australian Navy by maintaining the Royal Australian Navy's fleet of MH-60R Seahawk helicopters.

We now have opportunities for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and Certifying Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our team. Our Aircraft Maintenance Team, work a flexible week, with varying start and finish times and no weekend work!

The Opportunity
Join Sikorsky Australia as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) or Certifying Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for an exhilarating adventure! Play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and mission readiness of the Royal Australian Navy MH-60R helicopter fleet.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to further develop in this role, as we'll support you in obtaining your Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML). We complete mechanical, structural, and avionic repairs, and you can progress your career in the area that interests you.
You will work collaboratively alongside your team of AMEs and Certifying AMEs, following the guidance of your team leaders and supervisors, performing inspections and maintenance tasks, and assisting in troubleshooting and repairs on various helicopter systems and components.

About You

Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills and experience in aircraft maintenance
- Passion for learning and progressing your career with our organisation
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and willingness to comply with military aviation regulations and operational standards
As our Certifying AMEs, you would ideally hold your MAML and have military aircraft experience.
Please note: you will need to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and complete pre-employment security checks before commencing the role. You can see more about the requirements here. A full medical including DAS is also required for this role.
