Chinchilla Christian College is an independent, co-educational Christian school in Queensland’s Western Downs. About the Opportunity

Chinchilla Christian College now has a new and exciting opportunity for a Lower Primary Teacher to join our team in the Western Downs region full-time.

Our Lower Primary Teacher role will see you coordinating the learning and teachings using our school’s focuses, with the assistance and support of another teacher in that year level.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be registered or eligible to register with the Queensland College of Teachers and hold a Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education. We are open to new graduates, experienced teachers, or Early Childhood Teachers looking to move into a school environment, provided they uphold the Christian values of the school. 

You will be a people person, passionate about educating children and will love working as part of a team to achieve the best for your students. Managing student behaviour and assisting in the pastoral area of education are important parts of this position.

Most importantly, you will teach within the guidelines of the college and carry the values of the school into your everyday life.

Please note: as part of our selection process, you may be required to provide a pastoral reference.
