The Catholic School Principal serves as a Christ-centered leader who models the 'Fullness of Life' framework; "A framework to support our students in Christ to learn well and live well". The Principal will lead across the school community to develop and shape a shared vision for Catholic education, "focused on providing pastoral care at its heart, influenced through leadership that nurtures an optimal learning environment; and promotes authentic family and school partnerships". The Principal has responsibility for supporting and monitoring the learning and growth of committed teachers and setting high standards for students and staff performance, enabling students to achieve the fullness of life.

What You’ll Bring to the College:
To be considered for this position, you will ideally have demonstrated prior experience as a secondary school Principal in the Catholic education system. Alternatively, individuals with experience as an Assistant Principal in a large Catholic school setting will also be considered.
Your highly developed communication skills will ensure effective collaboration with stakeholders, including students, parents, teachers, and the wider community, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. You’ll also have effective interpersonal skills and high-level emotional intelligence, enabling you to build strong relationships and provide empathetic support when necessary.
Additional requirements include:
- Tertiary qualifications in Education, with postgraduate qualifications at Masters level in Education Leadership (including 4 units of Religious Education or postgraduate studies in Theology or Religious Education)
- Demonstrated commitment to the Catholic Ethos, with the ability to provide pastoral references to support your application
- Current NESA accreditation, or ability to obtain prior to commencing employment if relocating from interstate
- Willingness to undergo a Criminal History check and Working with Children Check
