We now have an exciting opportunity available for a talented human resources professional to join our team as the next Head of People and Culture!

Note: This role can be performed from our Brisbane or Toowoomba offices. Candidates will however be required to travel between the two offices given the People and Culture team is split between Toowoomba and Brisbane.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Implementing people strategies in support of the strategic business objectives
  • Developing and implementing effective and efficient recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
  • Leading performance management programs, and providing guidance and support to the business managers in setting goals, ongoing performance feedback and talent, career, and succession planning 
  • Identifying, developing and implementing training and development programs to enhance employee skills and build the organisation’s capabilities

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or another relevant discipline. You should also have prior demonstrated experience in a Human Resources Management role that saw you managing a team and implementing initiatives to improve retention, support recruitment efforts, and support overall business growth.

Your highly developed communication skills (both written and verbal) will ensure that you are able to effectively engage with a variety of stakeholders, while your collaborative nature will facilitate the creation of strong, cross-functional relationships. 

Your ambition and willingness to roll up your sleeves to work with team members to find innovative solutions will be critical to your continued success at Wagners.
