What opportunity is on offer?

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Head of Talent Acquisition to join our growing team. The primary purpose of this role is to maximise growth, productivity and performance across Scout Talent’s Talent Acquisition client services division. 

In this fast-paced position you’ll be a member of Scout Talent’s global Divisional Leadership team, reporting to the CEO. You’ll have two direct reports (Team Leaders) and you’ll head up a division of 12 team members. Team members in this division are based in Brisbane, Melbourne and Manila. Roles in your division span across Recruitment Marketing, Employer Branding, Talent Sourcing and Talent Engagement. 

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving and maintaining excellence in service delivery and performance
  • Facilitating high levels of employee engagement across your talented team
  • Growing and developing your division, including developing current and future Leaders 
  • Cultivating and managing key client relationships
  • Developing and leading projects that include a variety of Recruitment and RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) assignments
  • Overseeing the financial elements of your division, including managing forecasts, monthly P&Ls and expenses
  • Taking a data-driven approach to decision making, both internally and when it comes to client projects
  • Managing supplier relationships with key suppliers

  • Experience in, and a passion for, Recruitment and/or Talent Acquisition

  • The ability to support a culture of continuous improvement, being innovative in developing creative solutions to help our clients achieve their Talent Acquisition goals
  • Strong emotional intelligence, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • A willingness and the ability to learn about how Scout Talent Group works across all divisions, and to contribute to achieving Group goals
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent organisational skills

An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate in line with skills and experience. Your package will be made up of a base salary and performance-based incentives.

(We anticipate receiving applications from people with varying levels of experience and are willing to negotiate an appropriate package with those who are shortlisted, which is why we aren’t advertising a specific salary at this stage.)
