About the Opportunity:

 

As an Executive Director in the Wagners leadership team, you will be responsible for the GROWTH and ongoing operations of Wagners' composite fibre technologies (CFT) division, reporting to the Managing Director. Your vision, drive and entrepreneurial experience will influence Wagner's operations across Australia and drive growth within the USA market, crafting strategies for growth and operational efficiency.

 

Ideally, the successful candidate will be based in Queensland,Toowoomba, however, the successful candidate may wish to live in Brisbane and commute. Your work time will be split between Australia and the USA (Wagners' US operations are based in Texas).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically lead the CFT division.
  • Lead the development and implementation of effective strategies and processes, for the continued growth of the CFT business into both local and international markets.
  • Ensure the CFT business meets the sales and EBIT targets set in the budget.
  • Maintain a culture within the CFT business which reflects Wagners' core values.
  • Manage financial aspects, including balance sheets and P&L.
  • Develop and mentor the composites' leadership team.
  • Drive business development and sales.

 

About You:

 

  • Experience in financial and business management.
  • Strong background in manufacturing with a focus on productivity.
  • Entrepreneurial background and a "deal-maker".
  • Proven leadership skills, especially in coaching and team development.
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable to various corporate levels.
  • Exceptional project management skills and experience.
  • Change management competencies including HR and communications.
  • Ability to develop productive relationships with industry providers, key users and key stakeholders.
  • International experience in developing and launching new Channel to Market programs and sales through strategic industry partnerships.
  • Willingness and ability to balance commitments between Australia and the USA.
