Our client is an established player in the FMCG sector, providing management, administrative and logistic services to the sector.
The business is based in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne and works across Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia Pacific.
Amidst a transformative phase, our client is actively seeking a skilled Generalist Accountant & Manufacturing Accountant to enhance their finance team on a full-time basis in Melbourne’s Northern Suburbs.
In this role you will be responsible for contributing to the businesses financial management efforts and contributing to day-to-day accounting functions, month-end processes, management reporting, compliance and internal auditing functions together with management and EOFY financial reporting.
Primary Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will hold a tertiary degree in Accounting and CPA certification, coupled with at least five years of relevant experience, ideally within the FMCG industry.
The business values enthusiasm, proactivity, and flexibility in it's team members. Your positive outlook and readiness to exceed expectations will be key. A problem-solver by nature, you should have a strong inclination towards continuous improvement and efficiency.
Familiarity with Cin7 inventory/manufacturing and XERO systems is advantageous but not mandatory. Your ability to lead and mentor, enhancing the skills of junior colleagues, will be crucial.
