About Ulladulla

Ulladulla is a coastal town in New South Wales, on the Princes Highway, approximately 250 km south of Sydney. 

Situated on its famous and picturesque harbour, Ulladulla is the commercial and retail centre for the Coastal Resort district. In Ulladulla's CBD you will find supermarkets, real estate agents, shops, offices and banks as well as a wide variety of accommodation at leading hotels, motels and guest houses.

About the Opportunities

The Richmond Fellowship of New South Wales (RFNSW) is seeking a full-time Service Manager to lead their team in Ulladulla.

This role will be responsible for managing Ulladulla's Service Centre and supervising staff to ensure the best possible services for all clients.

Main responsibilities will include:

•    Providing day-to-day management of the Service Centres;
•    Providing supervision and support to all direct care staff in the Service Centres;
•    Assisting in the implementation, development and review of policies and procedures;
•    Overseeing and monitoring all Service Centres accounts to ensure that they conform to proper accounting procedures; and
•    Ensuring that each team member has regular, documented line supervision, on-the-job performance and staff development.

The successful candidates will possess tertiary qualifications and ideally have a minimum of three years' management experience and previous experience in mental health, rehabilitation or disabilities.

You will have an understanding of the Mental Health Act and NSW Disability Services Act and a good local knowledge of the area and its health services will be highly regarded.

Some experience in financial management will also be highly advantageous. Computer literacy is also a key attribute to be successful in this role.

Importantly, you will have a positive attitude towards people living with a mental illness and possess superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work both autonomously and in a team. Resilience and crisis management skills are also an integral part of this role, as the nature of this sector and the role are multi-faceted and priorities can compete from time to time.

You will enjoy exciting levels of variety in this role, including service delivery and client contact, staff management, administration responsibilities and service development.
