The Opportunity: 

This position leads a client success team with a focus on technology, embodying STG’s spirit of challenging the conventional and bringing innovation to life to provide valued client solutions.

As our Customer Success Team Leader, you will lead by example to provide premier client support, placing the customer and their goals front and centre, and leading your team to success. Your role is central to helping clients fully utilise our software and services, with a focus on upselling opportunities. Additionally, your input will be valuable in product design and usability testing, ensuring our software meets customer needs effectively.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and inspire a tight-knit team dedicated to providing excellent support to our software clients, ensuring satisfaction and efficient problem resolution
  • Develop strategies for client onboarding, training, and engagement, enhancing overall client experience
  • Serving as a coach and a leader, helping to develop the skills of your team as they grow in their careers
  • Join our Sales & Account Executives on meetings with prospective clients to show them through the software product
  • Providing best practice, strategic and commercial Talent Acquisition advice to multiple clients from varied industries
  • Troubleshoot and answer questions regarding our software
  • Work closely with our Product and Development Teams to represent the voice of the client during the product design, usability and testing phases
  • Conduct user acceptance testing
  • Balancing client needs and business growth
  • Strategic thinking and leveraging data for client and sales benefits
  • Budget management, ensuring efficient and effective use of financial resources

 

Who we're looking for:

  • An Experienced Leader: Proven experience in leading a customer support or client success team, particularly in a technology-focused environment.
  • Client-Centric Approach: A knack for understanding client needs and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Resilience & Time Management: An ability to embrace obstacles and roll up your sleeves to lead by example in overcoming challenges.
  • Technical Mindset: A passion for technology, and an advocate of SaaS.
  • Coach: A passion for coaching and growing your team and encouraging their professional development.
  • NPS Focus and Innovation: A strong focus on Net Promoter Score, involving program optimisation, feedback monitoring, aggregation, and applying client insights for significant improvements.
  • Sales Acumen:  Understanding of sales strategies and how they relate to client success initiatives.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with HR and recruitment, especially within a tech context. (highly desirable).

 

Skills & Experience: 

  • Experience leading a team
  • Experience in a SaaS customer success leadership role
  • A background in client support
  • Process improvement
  • Effective communication abilities, fostering teamwork and collaboration
  • Strong organisational and decision-making skills
  • Sales experience (highly desirable)
  • Talent Acquisition (highly desirable)
