Your next opportunity:

At Scout Talent Group, we’re excited for a Marketing Specialist to join our team full-time role based at our Global Head Office in the prime location of Milton, Brisbane.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and producing valuable content, including social posts, articles, website copy, and email campaigns.

As a global business, we’ve established a number of durable, prominent corporate brands, primarily in the talent acquisition space. In this role, you will be given plenty of opportunities and career development to take our marketing efforts to the next level. 

You will receive mentorship and support, reporting directly to our Marketing Leader whilst working with our Executive team, including our CEO, CRO, and Managing Director.

Here's what you will get up to:

  • Produce a variety of content for a number of our brands, including articles, website copy, and email campaigns.
  • Be proactive in suggesting new content initiatives.
  • Publish a range of content on our various websites, keeping SEO and readability best practices in mind.
  • Coordinate social media channels, including scheduling social posts and monitoring engagement.
  • Report on the performance of marketing activity.
  • Support our Business Development Executives with internal marketing queries.
  • Interview key internal and external stakeholders to produce great curated and created content.
  • Take charge of expanding our marketing list and broadening our reach to maximize distribution and impact
  • Demonstrate initiative and confidence in proactively enhancing our visibility and expanding our audience

Are you a natural storyteller with a flair for crafting captivating copy? Are you ready to take your content marketing skills to the next level? Do you have the ability to weave words together to tell compelling stories that engage your audience? If so, we want you!

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Two years of industry experience in a B2B marketing role
  • Demonstrated track record in copywriting and content creation
  • Familiarity with WordPress and HubSpot (desirable)
  • Emphasis on bringing creativity, and passion to the team
  • Experience monitoring content performance metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, and other relevant indicators
  • Prior experience with high-volume email marketing is highly desirable

Working independently and as part of a dynamic team, you will bring a genuine passion for marketing and a deep understanding of the relationship between sales and marketing. You will be highly organised and computer-literate, with a solid understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to work closely with various internal and external stakeholders.

While a Bachelor's degree in writing, marketing, or a related field is desirable, it's not essential. What's most important is your positive, proactive approach to work, energy and enthusiasm, and willingness to learn and grow in your role.
