The Opportunity: 

In this exciting and pivotal role you will report to the Head of Product and Technology and be at the forefront of translating our Group Vision into a compelling Product Vision. You will lead product development initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. You will collaboratively take ownership of the Product Roadmap and work alongside stakeholders to plan for the future. Your deep understanding of our target market, their current usage patterns, and their evolving needs will be critical to your success. By delving into our users' pain points, you will identify opportunities for improvement, while working closely with a passionate, cross-functional team of developers, designers, and marketers to bring Scout Talent Group's (STG) Product Roadmap to life. Your role as a product owner will empower you to deliver an exceptional user experience and achieve ambitious BHAGs (Big, Hairy, Audacious Goals) for yourself and our Product division as a whole.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with the Executive Team to translate the Group Vision into a compelling Product Vision.
  • Show ownership over the Product Roadmap and work with stakeholders to plan for the future.
  • Allocate resources and manage agile sprints effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time.
  • Deeply understand our target market and anticipate their evolving needs.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement by diving into user pain points.
  • Work with a cross-functional team to bring the Product Roadmap to life.
  • Set ambitious goals for yourself and the Product division.

 

Who we're looking for:

As the ideal candidate, you have a strong background in project management and product development. You excel in agile environments, possess excellent time management skills, and are skilled in estimation and scoping.

  • You're passionate about technology and innovation; and embrace complex challenges.
  • You are skilled at executing projects from concept to reality and allocating resourcing effectively.
  • You thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • You take a client-centric approach and have a knack for understanding and advocating for client/ user needs and delivering solutions that exceed expectations. 
  • You are super organised and have the ability to overcome obstacles and effectively prioritise deliverables.
  • You understand the sales lifecycle and how it is a critical part of our business growth.
  • You understand SaaS; Talent Acquisition/Recruitment/HR in a technology context.

Skills & Experience: 

  • Proven experience in product management/ development.
  • Proven experience in Project Management / Agile methodologies, managing end to end technology projects.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities, fostering cross functional teamwork and collaboration.
  • Strong organisational and resource allocation skills.
