The Role

We are looking for a full-time Director of Community Services based in Port Broughton, South Australia.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this senior leadership role is accountable for managing and growing the Barunga Village Community Care Program while ensuring high-quality, relationship-centered care.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Leading and embedding a culture of high-quality care
• Fostering consumer engagement and service development
• Managing budget and operational targets
• Developing and supporting Community Services staff
• Driving growth through new programs and initiatives
• Ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement
• Monitoring and managing program risks
• Utilising business information systems effectively

About You

To qualify, you will have a minimum of 5 years senior leadership experience in managing Home Care Services and Community Services in Aged Care or Disability Services programs. While not essential, post-graduate qualifications will be beneficial.  

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

• Successful experience in new business development or implementation within a community services setting
• Nursing qualifications or experience in Clinical Governance

As our ideal candidate, you will possess leadership skills including change management, decision-making, planning, and communication. You will also demonstrate financial literacy, high written literacy for report writing, effective time management, and the ability to work under pressure.
