FOIT Group Ltd is looking for a full-time IT Support Engineer  (Level 2 to Level 3) based in Sydney, NSW.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding technical support to our diverse client base. This critical role assists in maintaining the smooth operation of our clients' IT systems by efficiently resolving complex technical issues and ensuring exceptional customer service.

More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering outstanding technical support to clients via phone, email, remote assistance, or on-site visits
  • Ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of client networks and systems including Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Azure and leading cybersecurity solutions
  • Managing client local infrastructure as well as private & public cloud environments
  • Diagnosing and resolving complex hardware, software, cloud and network-related issues
  • Executing the implementation and configuration of new systems, applications and network services
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and knowledge-base articles
  • Recording and tracking all support activities using our ITIL-based ticketing system
  • Continuously updating your knowledge of industry trends and technologies to provide the highest level of support and service to our clients

To qualify, you will need 2 to 3+ years of experience in a technical role with a managed service provider (MSP) that delivers network, application, infrastructure, and security services. A strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions and cloud technologies is also essential.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Exceptional client-facing skills, ensuring that our clients get the best service consistently
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, SharePoint, and Azure
  • Sound understanding of maintaining Windows Server and Desktop environments
  • Ability to work well in a small collaborative team and independently
