About the Organisation
Highway Quality Assurance (HiQa) are a rapidly growing Construction Materials Testing organisation based throughout the adventurous outback of the Northern Territory.
Strategically located along the Stuart Highway, their laboratories are based in Katherine, Alice Springs and Darwin. HiQa's Mobile Laboratory Service means they are also able to work in some of the most wild and rugged parts of Northern and Central Australia.
Due to the excellent long term economic prospects in the Northern Territory, the business is expanding and HiQa are now seeking experienced and adventurous people to join their dynamic teams.
About the Opportunity
HiQa is now seeking full time Soil Testing Technicians across all different levels of experience (Levels 1-5), to join their site labs and laboratories in Katherine, Alice Springs and Darwin.
In these roles, you will provide clients with exceptional customer service, provide results in an accurate and timely manner, and support the Laboratory Manager.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be participating in field and laboratory work, to ensure customer's work is performed to a high standard.
HiQa is looking for a highly organised, energetic and decisive individual with well developed problem solving skills and a minimum of 18 months experience in soil testing. You will need to be self-determined, with the proven ability to think through situations clearly.
Ideally, you will possess a current or previous radiation licence and a Certificate in Laboratory Operation, Civil Construction or similar. Although not essential, experience in concrete and aggregate testing will be highly regarded.
