About the Opportunity
Due to continuing growth, Boyce Chartered Accountants has several exciting opportunities for Senior Accountants to join its prestigious teams in Moree, Goulburn and Cooma in NSW.
Your primary aim will be to provide quality management accounting services at an appropriate level for clients.
More specifically, your duties will include (but will not be limited to):
- Providing excellent technical knowledge to our clients and sharing this knowledge with others;
- Developing client relationships – aiming to be first point of contact;
- Acting as a role model to less experienced members of the team, helping them to assimilate to the workforce;
- Working in a self directed manner, from job planning through to completion;
- Taking on client management, to provide additional support to Managers and / or Directors; and
- Uncovering opportunities to help clients further through use of initiative.
To be considered, applicants must be degree qualified and ideally be CA or CPA qualified, with several years experience in an Australian professional practice firm and previous experience in a Business Service/Advisory role. This is the perfect opportunity for you to step up into a senior level position and enjoy the extra responsibility in your position as a mentor to others.
In addition, you will be passionate about delivering services to regional areas. You will also have the demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office, XPA and APS and familiarity with various accounting software packages such as MYOB, Phoenix and Banklink would be highly regarded. A strong understanding of the local environment and of accounting principles and/or taxation is a must.
To be successful in these roles, you will be a professional, friendly team player, with highly developed communication skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people. Boyce is seeking highly organised and performance-driven applicants with a genuine desire for looking after the financial well being of clients, who are able to minimise surprises by pre-empting workflows whilst maintaining a positive attitude.
