About Kimberley Land Council (KLC)

Join Kimberley Land Council (KLC), a leading Indigenous organisation dedicated to the empowerment and self-determination of Kimberley Aboriginal people. Established in 1978, KLC has become one of Australia’s peak Native Title Representative Bodies, focusing on securing recognition of native title, enhancing land and sea management, and supporting sustainable cultural business enterprises. Our mission is to work closely with the Kimberley Aboriginal people to protect their lands, uphold their rights, and shape their future.

As part of our team, you'll contribute to significant projects that support Traditional Owner rights, drive self-determination through sustainable corporations, and maintain the highest standards of corporate governance and risk management. This includes involvement in environmental initiatives like the KLC’s carbon and fire projects, the Kimberley Ranger Network, and Two-Way Science programs. At KLC, your work will not only preserve the rich cultural heritage of the Kimberley but also empower its communities to achieve greater control of their destiny.
