Position Overview

Luv-a-Duck is looking for a full-time HR Advisor based in Nhill, Victoria.

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the HR Advisor will be responsible for providing general administration assistance and coordinating the day-to-day people operations for the Nhill Plant & Livestock departments.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assisting the HR Manager in reviewing and developing human resource policies and procedures
• Supporting managers with HR processes, including performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation
• Administering letters of offer and managing employment status changes
• Coordinating recruitment and selection activities
• Maintaining the HRIS database, employee records, and performance management data
• Processing time and attendance records, allowances, leave requests, and remuneration reviews
• Actively participating in the Annual Performance Review process
• Ensuring adherence to OHS and quality guidelines

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HR operations, with a focus on aligning training needs with business goals.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

• Degree in Human Resources or equivalent preferred
• 2 years experience in HR operations 
• Ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to engage staff and management at all levels
• Burmese language proficiency (advantageous)
