About the Opportunity
Cardno Bowler is now seeking full time Soil & Concrete Testing Technicians across all levels of experience, to join their site labs and laboratories across VIC, NSW, ACT and QLD.
In these roles, you will be responsible for the testing of soils and concrete to a variety of standards, ensuring completion of routine and non routine tests.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be participating in field and laboratory work, to ensure client's work is performed to a high standard.
In these roles, it is essential that applicants come from a construction materials laboratory background. To be considered, you will need a minimum of six months previous exposure to both field and laboratory tasks, coupled with previous experience in soil and construction materials testing. Ideally candidates for Senior Technician positions will demonstrate considerable experience within this field.
Cardno Bowler are looking for highly organised, energetic and flexible individuals with well developed communication and problem solving skills. You will need to be self-determined, with the proven ability to think through situations clearly.
Ideally, you will be an Approved NATA Signatory, with a current or previous radiation licence and a Certificate in Laboratory Operation, Civil Construction or similar. A current driver's licence and nuclear gauge licence are also essential.

In return for your hard work you will enjoy a competitive rates circa $18 - $24 per hour for Technicians and $22 - $33 per hour for Senior Technicians, negotiable based on experience, qualifications and location, plus super.
FIFO opportunities are also available, predominantly in Queensland, which will pay between $28 - $40 per hour + allowances! In addition, all positions will attract penalty rates for overtime, in accordance with the Fair Work Australia Act.
Cardno Bowler will consider those on 457 visas, and will contribute to relocation costs within Australia for high level candidates.
