The Opportunity

Purple Support is looking for a full-time Disability Service Coordinator based in Darwin, NT.

In this leadership-focused role, you will be responsible for overseeing service delivery, mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with NDIS guidelines.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing leadership and mentorship to support staff and team leaders

  • Developing and managing individual care plans, ensuring alignment with participants’ goals

  • Ensuring compliance with NDIS guidelines and maintaining accurate documentation

  • Building strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders

  • Driving service improvements through continuous development initiatives

  • Providing strategic insights and operational guidance to the leadership team

About You

To qualify, you will need a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role will also be essential.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Hands-on experience in disability support, preferably as a support worker, team leader, or house coordinator

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex situations

  • Passion for working with a diverse team and enhancing service quality

  • Familiarity with NDIS compliance, policies, and rostering

Compensation includes a competitive annual salary of $82,000 - $90,000 + superannuation, along with a range of great benefits, including:

  • $60 per fortnight travel allowance (~$2,000 annually)
