Your role
Macfarlane Generators is looking for a full-time Branch Manager based in Brendale, QLD.
Reporting directly to our Head Office Management Team in Victoria, you’ll be responsible for the leadership, profitability, and operations of our Brendale branch – spanning admin, sales, workshop, hire, and service departments.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing and mentoring department leads across sales, hire, workshop, service, and admin
- Leading business planning, budgeting and branch P&L performance
- Overseeing day-to-day operations, customer service, staffing levels, and scheduling
- Ensuring high levels of OH&S compliance, equipment servicing and presentation standards
- Driving new business opportunities and developing client relationships
- Coordinating cross-department collaboration and reporting to Head Office
- Conducting weekly performance meetings with department managers
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and productive facility across all business units
- Upholding and role-modelling Macfarlane’s values and code of conduct

What You’ll Bring to the Role
To qualify, you will need a background in electrical or mechanical industries and strong leadership experience managing diverse operational teams. A proven track record in branch management, service or technical sales, or a related field will be essential.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
- Experience in managing multi-department teams (sales, service, hire)
- Business planning and financial acumen (budgeting, reporting, P&L)
- Strong understanding of OH&S and WorkSafe standards
- Excellent customer relationship management and communication skills
- Ability to lead with integrity, set high standards, and inspire your team
