About the Opportunity
The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is looking for a full-time IT Service Delivery Officer based in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, WA.
Reporting to the Coordinator IT, this role is responsible for delivering high-level technical support, maintaining efficient IT services, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the City’s digital infrastructure.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing first and second-level support for all ICT-related incidents and service requests
- Monitoring and managing IT service delivery performance to meet SLAs
- Maintaining accurate records of ICT assets and supporting hardware/software lifecycle management
- Contributing to the development of procedures, user guides, and continuous service improvements
- Supporting system upgrades, deployments, and implementation of new technologies
- Ensuring adherence to ICT security policies and compliance requirements
- Communicating effectively with staff and stakeholders regarding IT service status and maintenance
- Maintaining documentation and reports related to service desk operations
- Identifying and resolving issues before they impact business continuity
- Providing basic training or guidance to end-users where necessary

About You
To qualify, you will need tertiary qualifications in Information Technology (or a similar field), or at least 2 years of relevant experience in an IT service delivery or support role.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
- Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Teams, SharePoint & Intune management
- Experience with Service Desk platforms (e.g., ServiceNow or ManageEngine)
- Troubleshooting across desktop, mobile, and peripheral environments
- Knowledge of networking (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi-Fi)
- IT asset lifecycle management and service documentation
- ITIL or ITSM framework familiarity
- Data privacy and cybersecurity awareness
- Excellent stakeholder communication and training skills
- Time management and prioritisation in dynamic settings
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative ICT team
