Based in Mparntwe/Alice Springs, CAAMA has been creating media with and for Aboriginal people, their families and communities for over four decades.

With 12 studios and retransmission sites spanning the Northern Territory and beyond, CAAMA produces powerful, award-winning media — from FM radio to digital content and an extensive 50-year archival collection.

About the Opportunity

CAAMA is seeking a full-time Finance and Administration Manager based in Alice Springs, NT.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a career-defining opportunity for someone ready to move beyond the numbers — into a role that combines strategic leadership, hands-on delivery, and the chance to leave a lasting legacy.

You’ll be a key contributor to financial sustainability, compliance, and operational success — all while working in an organisation that values creativity, purpose, and progress.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing financial operations and maintaining the Xero accounting system
  • Leading budget preparation, financial reporting, and audits
  • Liaising with funders and ensuring timely grant reporting and acquittals
  • Overseeing statutory compliance with ACNC, ORIC, ASIC and ATO
  • Collaborating with the CEO on business planning and sustainability projects
  • Coordinating insurance, contract management, and key policies
  • Engaging with external contractors, bookkeepers and HR providers
  • Supporting light-touch HR administration where needed
  • Presenting reports and insights to the CAAMA Board

About the Benefits

You’ll be offered a competitive salary of $135,000 – $145,000 + super, depending on your experience and potential. Additional benefits include:
