About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated full time Injury Management Advisor to join Flight Centre out of the Healthwise area in Queen Street.
Based at the company’s global head office in Brisbane’s CBD, this position will primarily see you liaising with all Flight Centre Limited Australian businesses to ensure our people’s health and rehabilitation needs are met.
More specifically, some of your key areas of responsibility will include:
- Management of a multi-disciplined, national team of external and internal health, insurance and rehabilitation service providers;
- Sourcing contractors for interstate ergonomic assessments;
- Providing rehabilitation case management;
- Undertaking worksite visits and ergonomic assessments;
- Workers Compensation Claims management;
- Implementation and management of health, wellness and disability related policies and procedures; and
- Workplace Health and Safety
To be successful in this role, you'll be an experienced Injury Management Advisor, with recent exposure within the rehabilitation sector. You'll be passionate about workplace rehabilitation and will be keen to use your case management background within this integral role in the Flight Centre team.
Ideally, you'll be a recent clinician who is currently working within a rehabilitation management environment.
Current healthcare qualifications, specifically in Physiotherapy, would be highly desirable for this position, as would any qualifications in rehabilitation (i.e. acupuncture).
The role is a permanent full time position that will require some domestic travel. As you undertake your primary injury management role, you'll enjoy the assistance of a junior claims officer, which will free up your time from the administration tasks and allow you to a take a stronger focus on workplace rehabilitation.
