Broome Out of School Care Children’s Activities (BOSCCA) provides high-quality Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) and Vacation Care for children aged 5–12 in Broome, Western Australia. As a not-for-profit, community-focused service, BOSCCA exists to support local families by delivering inclusive, engaging, and play-based programs that promote learning, creativity, wellbeing, and independence.

Make an Impact
BOSCCA is seeking passionate OSHC Educators to join our team in Broome, WA.
Working under the guidance of the OSHC Coordinator and Educational Leader, you will contribute to the delivery of engaging, play-based programs that support the learning, wellbeing, and development of children aged 5–12, while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the service.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the planning and delivery of inclusive, play-based educational programs aligned with the My Time, Our Place framework
- Building warm, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment that encourages learning and independence
- Assisting with observations, documentation, and reflections to support children’s development
- Promoting child safety, wellbeing, and inclusion at all times
- Working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team to support daily routines and service operations
- Following all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

What You’ll Bring
To qualify, you will ideally hold, or be working towards, a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent). You will also be willing to accept the role of Responsible Person, if required.
You will also hold, or be willing to obtain, the following:
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Accredited Child Protection Training
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certifications
Additionally, the following skills and attributes will be highly valued:
- Knowledge of the My Time, Our Place framework
- A genuine passion for working with children aged 5–12
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, patient, and inclusive approach to working with children and families
- Reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn
