Scout Talent is seeking a contract Talent Acquisition Specialist based in Milton, QLD with flexible work from home options.
You will deliver structured recruitment campaigns across organisations supporting communities across Australia, alongside established corporate clients with complex hiring needs.
You will act as a trusted extension of your clients’ hiring teams, translating briefs into clear strategies and delivering high quality, evidence backed shortlists.
This is a delivery role, not business development. Success comes from structured thinking, humility, and consistently strong hiring outcomes. More specifically, you will:
- Translate briefs into structured recruitment campaigns
- Craft targeted job advertisements aligned to capability and culture
- Run multi channel attraction campaigns
- Apply consistent and evidence based screening methods
- Conduct structured behavioural interviews
- Present insight driven shortlists with clear rationale
- Partner closely with hiring managers
- Use AI enabled technology to streamline delivery
We are rebuilding and strengthening our TA function. This is a genuine opportunity to join a team on the way up and help shape what great hiring looks like.
This is a 3 to 6 month fixed term contract requiring someone who can contribute quickly.

You have at least 2 years experience in recruitment in any setting or industry, but more importantly, you bring the right mindset. You care about quality, meaningful recruitment delivery, and changing the lives of candidates and the businesses they join, not just filling roles.
You are steady, thoughtful, and accountable.
You ask good questions and take ownership. And bring:
- Strong capability in structured behavioural interviewing and candidate assessment
- Confidence translating role briefs into clear attraction strategies
- Experience crafting compelling job advertisements
- Comfort working with recruitment systems and technology platforms
- The ability to manage competing priorities without sacrificing quality
You value quality over shortcuts. You do not need ego to do good work.
Most importantly, you are a good human who wants to help rebuild, lift standards, and do recruitment properly.
