What You Will Actually Do

Let's be clear about the engine of this role. It is high-volume, outbound, phone-based sales.

You will be on the phone every day, starting conversations with people who were not expecting your call, and you'll love the rhythm of it. If picking up the phone and making calls is not your idea of a good day, this is not the role for you, and that is completely fine.

You'll build your own pipeline and own every win that comes from it. You'll be supported by proven processes, experienced leaders and a team of specialists who handle delivery, allowing you to focus on building relationships and closing business.

More specifically, you will:

  • Prospect and engage organisations with 50 to 1,000 employees across Australia and New Zealand
  • Build and manage your own pipeline of opportunities
  • Run discovery conversations to understand hiring challenges and business goals
  • Recommend the right mix of recruitment services and technology solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from first conversation through to renewal
  • Partner with internal specialists to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Grow and develop your own book of business over time

The other thing to understand about this role is what you're actually selling. Yes, you'll be selling recruitment services and software. But that's only part of the story. What you're really helping clients achieve is better hiring outcomes. Behind every successful hire is a person taking the next step in their career, a family uprooting their lives for a better opportunity, a manager building a stronger team, or a business finding the talent it needs to grow.

That's the impact behind every conversation, proposal and deal you close.

This is a cold desk, but it's not a blank canvas. The playbook exists, the tools are sharp, and your job is to run them well and make them your own.

You'll be backed by proven systems, established processes and a modern AI-powered sales stack including Salesforce AI, HubSpot AI, Gong AI and Claude, helping you spend less time on admin and more time in front of clients.

Who You'll Learn From

You will report to our AU Sales Leader here in Brisbane and work closely with our CEO. Our leaders still sell from the front, so the people coaching you are the people doing the work alongside you.
