Yura Yungi is seeking a full-time Clinical Nurse Manager to lead clinical care in Halls Creek, Western Australia.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will take ownership of the clinical function, providing the strong clinical leadership needed to guide the team, manage complex care and maintain consistently high standards across the residence.

You will lead Registered Nurses, Endorsed Enrolled Nurses, Personal Care Assistants and ancillary staff, building a capable and cohesive team committed to safe, high-quality and culturally appropriate care.

At the heart of this position is clinical governance and confident decision-making for residents. You will oversee day-to-day clinical operations, maintain accreditation readiness and ensure Elders remain at the centre of care.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead clinical governance and ensure safe, high-quality care across the residence
• Oversee resident assessments, care plans, reviews, referrals and complex clinical care
• Manage clinical incidents, risks, investigations and corrective actions
• Maintain accreditation readiness and compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
• Drive quality improvement, clinical audits and regulatory reporting requirements
• Lead, coach and manage clinical and ancillary staff, including workforce performance and development
• Partner with the CEO and multidisciplinary teams to deliver culturally appropriate, person-centred care for Elders

The standard hours for this position are 8:00 am to 4:36 pm, Monday to Friday, with on-call responsibilities as required.

To qualify, you will need a Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, together with significant experience in residential aged care and demonstrated clinical leadership capability.

You may currently be working as a Clinical Nurse Manager, Clinical Manager, Facility Manager, Nurse Practitioner or in an equivalent senior clinical leadership role. More important than your current title is your ability to take ownership of clinical governance, confidently lead a team and manage the day-to-day clinical requirements and complex care needs of a residential aged care service.

Additionally, the following experience and skills will be highly regarded:

• Experience leading clinical operations within a residential aged care facility of a comparable size or complexity
• Strong knowledge of aged care quality, accreditation, risk and compliance requirements
• Experience managing, coaching and developing multidisciplinary clinical and care teams
• Relevant post-registration qualifications in gerontic nursing, nursing management or a related specialty
• Experience with aged care accreditation processes
• Experience providing nursing care in remote or rural settings
• Experience working respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities

You will bring strong clinical judgement and confident decision-making while remaining calm and measured when situations become complex. Your positive outlook and approachable nature will help create an environment where staff feel supported and Elders feel comfortable, respected and genuinely cared for.
