About the Opportunity

If you're looking to snag a new position, Supabarn has a prime opportunity for a talented Meat Manager and Butchers to join their team in the Sutherland Shire area, and they need to fillet!

Whether you're a highly experienced Butcher, or you're in your 2nd or 3rd apprenticeship year, this is your chance to start a fulfilling career with the growing Supabarn team. The role of Meat Manager requires a candidate with at least 3 years meat management experience, including rostering and order experience, preferably within a supermarket environment. At Supabarn you'll work with a higher grade of raw products, including top grade meats of export quality.

Working a fixed roster on the supermarket floor, you'll need to be a Meat & Greet Expert - having an eye for every aspect of the Butchery game, and offering the customer a great experience. 

You'll be joining a dynamic team of tradespeople who all share their passion for the industry. As a member of the Meat Department you will also be an integral part of the fresh food team at Supabarn which combines to present an innovative shopping experience for customers.

Additionally to ensure consistency, the meat department is managed by experienced butchers, as well as a Meat Specialist who has extensive experience in the industry. To further your skills in the business the Department Manager and Meat Specialist are there to teach and consult the team on quality control, buying and merchandising at store level.
