About the Opportunity
For high-achieving individuals who are passionate about travel, there’s an opportunity to deal with holidays, accommodation and tours every day, as an Experienced Travel Sales Consultant with BYOjet in Darwin's CBD!
This is a variety-packed role in which you will be responsible for low margin, high volume sales and doing everything possible to sell and book tailor-made holidays for a wide range of clients. Working 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday and managing your own concept store, you will be dealing on the spot with customers, ensuring that each one receives an outstanding level of service and travel know-how.
More specifically, some of your duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Selling travel services and products;
- Planning, researching and preparing detailed and professional travel itineraries for clients;
- Keeping detailed, neat and accurate records on client files;
- Ensuring all procedures as per the operations manual are followed when quoting and making bookings; and
- Providing information and selling extras such as insurance, phone cards and Cash Passport cards.
BYOjet is looking for a sales professional with fantastic customer services skills and the ability to upsell clients from base orders.
