About the Opportunity
Tile Wizards have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to join their dynamic Tile & Carpet team on Brisbane's Southside.
In the role of Sales Manager you will assist the Sales Consultants working on the front line, helping clients choose from a range of ceramic tile products to complete a variety of builder and home owner projects whilst ensuring consultants meet individual and team sales targets.
More specifically, your core duties will include (but will not be limited to):
- Completing sales quotes and invoices;
- Reading floor plans and calculating tile and adhesive estimates;
- Packing orders;
- Keeping store and its amenities clean and tidy; and
- Updating tile displays and promotional material.
Tile Wizards is seeking a dedicated Sales Manager, with experience managing and motivating a team of sales consultants. Sales Consultants with a background in retail is preferred.
Most importantly you will have excellent communication skills and the maturity to discuss home renovation projects with customers. Trade knowledge and experience in the tile, timber or carpet industries would be advantageous.
You will need the ability to do sales quotes and invoices and also be capable of reading floor plans, with the mathematical skills to calculate tile and adhesive estimates. The successful candidate will have a current forklift licence, or the ability to undergo training to gain this certificate - as paid for by Tile Wizards!
Excellent attention to detail coupled with a flexible approach will ensure your success in this role. Successful candidates will have well developed communication skills with professional presentation and a common sense approach to their work. These roles will require some heavy lifting, therefore candidates must be fit and able to complete such duties.

You will work full-time, 6 days a week, Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm and Saturdays 9.00am - 2.00pm, however store times may vary.
