Established in 2003, Urban Burger is famous for their gourmet burgers and was one of the original gourmet burger bars in Melbourne. The Bay Street store quickly became well renowned receiving rave reviews in major newspapers, magazines and praises from many celebrity chefs. With a vision to open outlets all over Australia much time and effort was devoted to developing the product, the brand and the system, that we now know as Urban Burger.
Now the Urban Burger group includes 8 stores in Victoria including the original store in Bay Street Port Melbourne and four in South East Queensland, located at Wellington Point, Browns Plains, Crestwood and Salisbury. With the recent change in ownership in March 2011, Urban Burger is under the guide of a fresh, new, dynamic team that have a focus on targeting innovation, a strong brand image and growth. Urban Burger has been franchising since 2003 and are a proud member of the Franchising Council of Australia. They are currently looking to share the Urban Burger love around, and are seeking Franchisees for their ready sites in Bundaberg and Townsville, with other locations available across QLD, NSW, VIC and SA.

The Bundaberg premises offers excellent street exposure and is located in a very high profile section of Bourbong Street, Bundaberg, whereas the Townsville premises is located at The Precinct, which is conveniently located only 6kms from Townsville’s CBD and less than 5 minutes from James Cook University and Townsville Hospital. With a unique market styled interior, The Precinct provides an intimate shopping and restaurant experience.

Do I need qualifications or specific experience?
Ideally, you will possess experience in managing a team and working in the food retail industry, however, this is not essential.

And of course, you'll have a love of great burgers, wraps and salads!
