About the Role: 

Juniper Aged care has an exciting opportunity for experienced patient, customer service orientated Multiskilled Carers to partner with residents, enabling them to fulfil their daily living, social and emotional needs at our Juniper Annesley and Juniper Cygnet aged care homes, located in Bentley. The much-loved home is designed to bring families and friends together and empowers residents to live life their way. A compassionate and respectful team of staff support residents to continue pursuing their own interests, backed by individualized clinical care.

The ideal candidates will be offered a permanent part time role and there is a variety of shifts available, candidates must be available to commit to at least x3 shifts a week between Monday and Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to residents with their hygiene needs including bathing, dental hygiene, dressing, grooming and personal care.
  • Support the maintenance or restoration of residents' independence by providing assistance to engage in activities of interest and use mobility aids where required.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation and report information to relevant Nursing, Allied Health and Management as required.
  • Maintain effective communication in the workplace, being respectful, open to change and kind in your approach. 
  • Assist residents with the administration of correct medication in accordance with Juniper policies

 Key Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (desirable)
  • Experience as a carer in an aged care setting
  • Understanding of AN-ACC documentation 
  • Experience working within a person centered, enabling environment
