About the Opportunity

Due to continued growth, Capital Transport has an exciting opportunity for a driven Business Development Manager to join their QLD Sales team, based out of Coopers Plains.

You'll be selling Capital Transport's full suite of services, which includes warehousing, distribution, permanent contracted vehicles and time sensitive ad hoc services - all of which comes with the competitive advantage of the in-house tracking iLogix system.

Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you'll be working in a close team environment of around 20 staff, where you'll be focused on generating leads, making appointments and closing the sale. Liaising with clients both over the phone and on the road, you'll never be chained to the desk, enjoying real day-to-day variety.

You'll enjoy autonomy in this role, with the support, direction, structure and technology of the well-established Capital Transport to ensure you reach your goals.

To succeed in this exciting role, you'll have a proven successful sales record and a fantastic ability in closing sales. A background within the logistics or transport industry will be an advantage, but with this competitive product, you can be trained on the product specifics.

A current driver's licence and your own vehicle is essential. The primary requirement is you love identifying, chasing and making the sale!

Capital Transport is growing rapidly, and for a hard-working Business Development Manager, this role will allow your career to grow in line with the company! One of the previous BDM's has been promoted internally into the Account Management team, making this opportunity available, and demonstrating that there are genuine professional development and advancement options available across Australia.

With an attractive base salary, car & phone allowance plus an uncapped commission scheme, you can expect to earn $70,000 - $80,000+ in your first year, with breakout potential for top performers, inclusive of an attractive retainer and car allowance. Additionally, a generous incentive structure is in place to reward those who go the extra mile.
