The dealership is located on the busy Mt Alexander Road, Moonee Ponds, with plenty of passing traffic.

About the Opportunity

Essendon Renault has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Service Manager to join their growing premier dealership in Moonee Ponds. This is a full time role, with no weekend work.

This is your chance to assist in the supervision of one of the busiest Service Centres in Melbourne. You'll take a hands-on approach in managing the daily workflow of the Service Centre efficiently and with respect for the customer.

Your duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Maintaining daily bookings and coordinating workflow priorities;
  • Ensuring daily telephone enquiries are handled in a timely and effective manner;
  • Analysing and producing productivity reports;
  • Ensuring Warranty claims are assessed and the appropriate repairs are managed and/or outsourced;
  • Preparing, costing and checking all invoices;
  • Liaising with Sales Managers to assist with customers' vehicle delivery queries or ad hoc repairs; and
  • Monitoring and managing OH&S practices and policies within the Service Centre.

Ideally, you'll be coming from a Renault mechanical background or a background in servicing European cars, however, those with general automotive service experience will also be considered. In this role, a current driver's licence is essential.
