The Forty Winks Fyshwick store covers approximately 1200 sq. metres of retail space with the largest range of bedroom related products in the Canberra area. The store has been serving the local Canberra community for nearly 25 years with a major store extension in 2002 nearly doubling the retail floor space.
About the Opportunity
As Australia's leading bed and bedding retailer, Forty Winks continues to grow, and currently has exciting opportunities for Casual Sales Assistants to join their fun and exciting team in Fyshwick, Canberra, ACT.
These roles are your chance to work with a reputable, close-knit team in an upbeat environment, in which you will be part of a sales team that has customer service as its #1 priority! You'll be taking on a hands-on role focusing on:
- Greeting customers as they enter the store;
- Providing excellent customer service at all times;
- Assisting with stock management;
- Maintaining a clean and tidy store; and
- Processing cash and card payments
No experience or qualifications are necessary and full training will be provided.
The successful candidates will be friendly and engaging and have an aptitude for great customer service. Importantly, you'll be the face of the Forty Winks brand so it's essential that you're helpful, polite and well presented with excellent interpersonal skills.
You'll spend most of the day on your feet and will occasionally need to lift stock so it's also important that you're physically fit.
To be considered for this role, it's essential that you have a current driver's licence and your own transport.
