About the Opportunities

imei has several excellent opportunities for Customer Support Specialists (Levels 1 & 2) to join their friendly team in Frenchs Forest. These are full time roles, and you will need to be available to support customers on a rotating shift between 8.30am and 8.30pm Monday to Friday.

Working within the Operations Division, you will primarily be responsible for ensuring clients are professionally supported with efficiently run mobile communication technology.

Some of the more specific duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Providing exceptional customer service to Carrier Services and Device Services support clients, via phone and email;
  • Using internal systems to ensure all support requests are logged, accurate, updated and completed;
  • Tracking repairs, orders and connections;
  • Completing all Telstra Network support and general inquiries in line with Helpdesk procedures;
  • Providing after hours support on a roster system as required; and
  • Liaising with vendors, suppliers and third parties for product updates, troubleshooting support and solution resolution.

To be considered for these positions, you will be a quick learner with demonstrated customer service experience in a similar role. You will operate with a focus on results and solutions, with a professional phone manner, good listening skills, high-level of attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to work well with others.

For the Level 2 positions, you will have proven telecommunications experience in a technical helpdesk environment including Device Support.  Relevant tertiary qualifications or vendor specific certifications will be an advantage.

These roles require the successful candidates to be computer literate in order to use the appropriate business hardware, including Outlook, Word and Excel and the Telstra systems.  Additionally, you'll have high level organisational skills with effective written and verbal English communication skills and will be a self motivated 'go getter' who is able to work comfortably and accurately in a fast paced environment.
