Symmetry Physiotherapy is an affiliate of the Spinal Management Clinic of Victoria (SMC). In addition, Symmetry Physiotherapy is proud to be a research centre, for a current three year trial on the effectiveness of specific treatment for low back pain (STOPS). This La Trobe University study is hoped, when published, to not only improve the quality of back pain treatment in Australia but have a significant impact worldwide.
As a testament to Symmetry Physiotherapy's reputation in the sports setting, our physiotherapists have recently been or are currently working with many sporting teams including the Melbourne Rebels and the Victorian Institute of Sport.
About the Opportunity
Symmetry Physiotherapy has exciting opportunities available for Physiotherapists of all levels to join their team in Taylors Lakes, Melbourne. These are flexible full time or part time positions working Monday - Friday with some Saturday work on a rotating roster.
In joining this busy group of practices, you will be providing a broad range of Physiotherapy services to clients in Melbourne's north west suburbs, exceeding client expectations with your professional, caring manner. Through the provision of high quality physiotherapy assessment, injury prevention, treatment and intervention, you will achieve maximal outcomes for a broad range of clients and conditions.
To be successful in these roles, you will need a degree in Physiotherapy and will currently hold (or be eligible to obtain) registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist. Importantly, your professional skill set must include knowledge of Pilates, Orthopaedics and Sports Injuries.
Symmetry Physiotherapy is looking for enthusiastic client focused candidates with a strong knowledge of evidence based best practice physiotherapy assessment and treatment methods. In addition, you'll be an exceptional communicator with the ability to work independently and as part of a high performing multidisciplinary team.
A current drivers licence and a reliable vehicle are essential.
Please note: You must be an Australian/New Zealand citizen or Permanent Resident or have a visa allowing you the unrestricted right to live and work in Australia to considered for these positions.

More established physiotherapists will enjoy a generous remuneration which will be negotiated commensurate with experience.

You'll be joining a highly successful private practice with multiple locations throughout Melbourne and a team of 25 physiotherapists with a wealth of knowledge plus another 10 allied health professionals including podiatrists, dietitians, psychologists, personal trainers and much more. While the current Taylors Lakes site is modern and well equipped, Symmetry Physiotherapy are excited to be in the process of having a new, purpose built facility constructed which is expected to open in late August or September of 2013.
