About the Opportunity


Arrow Energy is seeking to appoint a Gas Compression Superintendent to join their Moranbah team.

 

The primary function of this position is to manage the Compression Team in the operation and maintenance of gas compression assets. Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful applicant will aim to:

  • Maximise compression availability and optimise compression utilization;
  • Provide technical and maintenance support;
  • Facilitate cost reduction initiatives and emergency response management; and
  • Undertake the custodianship of the permit-to-work system.

 

The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical, Electrical or Instrument trade certificate or equivalent tertiary qualification/s. Candidates with tertiary or advanced trade qualifications in Engineering, Gas Process, Industrial Process, or Industrial Management are encouraged to apply.

 

To be successful in this position, you must be fluent in verbal and written English, and have a comprehensive understanding of technical writing and drawings. You will have knowledge of:

  • Digital process control systems;
  • Budget management; and
  • Safety standards in gas production and distribution.

 

Proven leadership abilities, in order to promote strong team synergies, are essential.

 

In this position you will enjoy a competitive remuneration package (which will include either FIFO or Location Living Allowance), commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
