Life Care was established in 1950 and is a not-for-profit organisation. Their head office is based in Adelaide and they have a number of facilities across Adelaide and Southern Beaches. About the Opportunity
Life Care has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Physiotherapist to join their team based in Aldinga Beach, Adelaide. This role is being offered on a part time basis, working a minimum 3 days per week- there is potential for the role to increase to full time hours.
The role will be based at Aldinga Beach Court, a residential aged care facility that is experiencing exciting growth. The facility currently has 85 beds and is due to increase to 120 in the next 12 months.
Working within the Residential and Community environment, you will be responsible for providing individual assessments and reviews, developing treatment plans and providing treatments in order to contribute to the overall well-being of clients.
Depending on each resident's needs, you will provide them with a comprehensive pain management program, comprised of a personalised mix of an individual treatment of acute & chronic pain and falls prevention.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Physiotherapist with a current practicing certificate and registration with AHPRA. You will have a comprehensive understanding of ACFI and will be familiar with the Aged Care & Community Standards. Ideally, you will have aged care experience along with a background in a residential environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to hone your well developed communication and interpersonal skills, as you build strong relationships with clients and other allied health professionals.
Your outgoing and friendly nature will be key as you work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and you will have a genuine interest in aged care.
This is a highly autonomous role, so self-motivation and confidence is a must.
Physio's of all experience levels will be considered, from an accomplished professional with years of history within the industry to recent Graduates.
A current driver's licence and access to your own car/ transport are essential. You will be required to undergo Pre-Employment checks and a Federal police check before employment.
