About the Opportunity
Florsheim is thrilled to be opening a new store in Indooroopilly, and is looking for a customer-service focused individual to represent their brand as a Full Time Store Manager.
Working in a newly fitted out store in a high traffic mall environment, you'll have the opportunity to deliver and maintain a "service of excellence culture" and sell a premium footwear brand.
As the Store Manager, you'll be responsible for leading by example and managing all facets of the business to ensure store profitability and the achievement of sales targets.
Some of your duties will include:
- Staff training, coaching, rostering and coordinating regular meetings;
- Managing stock including orders, special requests and new lines;
- Ensuring a high standard of visual merchandising in the store;
- Leading by example in sales volume, targets and achievements; and
- Developing a database of customers and VIP clientele.
To be successful in this role, you'll need strong experience in a retail environment and leadership experience. Your strong sales skills as well as your ability to mentor your team to follow your example and deliver exceptional customer service to close sales, will be key to your success in this role. To this end, the successful applicant will have experience in leading and motivating a small team, along with the capability to merchandise shops and drive budgets.
As a mature-minded "people person", you'll present a warm and friendly environment for customers and staff alike, and be able to communicate effectively to ensure needs are met at all stages of the sales cycle.
In addition, you will be expected to manage the retail shop and staff in an efficient and profitable way in order to achieve the agreed results.
To be successful in this role, you will have a demonstrated commitment to customer service and a genuine interest in assisting with your customer's needs. You'll be a friendly and approachable 'people person' who will represent the Florsheim brand professionally at all times and feel confident talking to customers, team members and management.
Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be expected to listen closely to customer needs and suggest products that may suit their sense of style. Additionally, you'll be comfortable working within a productive and sales-driven environment, where customer service is key and no inquiry is too small.
All applicants will need the flexibility to work a rotating roster.
