You'll have a large variety of responsibilities and your skill development pathway will vary based on the business' need.
Field Engineers are involved in every stage of the business, from acquiring the first data needed for drilling decisions to designing plans for the long range development of complex multi-well, multi-reservoir fields.

To be considered, you'll hold a PhD, master's or bachelor's degree in engineering or sciences along with an enthusiastic and resilient attitude. In return for you hard work and dedication, Schlumberger will offer you a very competitive starting salary which will be the equivalent of a minimum annual salary of $80,000 PLUS you will have the opportunity to earn over and above this figure based on the amount of work you put in. In addition, your accommodation, meals and utilities will be covered while you're on site.
While your accommodation will often be shared with your colleagues, special attention is paid to ensure that there are appropriate accommodation arrangements for female candidates as well.
