About the Opportunity
Simon National Carriers has a full time opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join their team in Smithfield, Sydney.
Reporting to National Sales Management Team, you'll be responsible for managing an established portfolio of high value clients as well as developing new revenue streams and business relationships.
More specifically, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Sourcing new business and growth opportunities;
- Providing high level customer service to existing customers;
- Developing existing business;
- Providing quotes to new and existing customers; and
- Following up on customer shipments.
To be successful, you will have extensive experience in a Sales or Business Development role coupled with a proven track record of customer management ensuring your ability to provide end-to-end supply chain solutions within a 3PL environment. Additionally, you will possess an excellent understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics Operating Models.
Simon National Carriers is looking for a strategic and persistent Sales professional who is highly organised and self motivated which will ensure your ability to hunt out new business opportunities while also building upon your existing customer base through up-selling opportunities.
