About the Opportunities
Due to their continued growth and expansion, Landmark Consulting has excellent opportunities for Cadastral Surveyors and Graduate Surveyors to join their team based in Eight Mile Plains.
These roles will be responsible for a range of diverse survey work on projects around the SEQ area, including residential, commercial and industrial developments.
More specifically, the duties of the Cadastral Surveyors will include:
- Conducting Cadastral Surveys for large and small subdivision projects;
- Creation of Leasing Plans for shopping centres and commercial complexes;
- Conducting Community Title, Identification, Easement and Volumetric surveys;
- Assisting with architectural and engineering design through Detail and Contour surveys;
- Conducting Construction and Setout surveys for a range of projects; and
- Data processing duties using specialised software.
The Graduate Surveyors will be responsible for:
- Conducting Engineering Setout, Detail, Cadastral and Lease surveys on a wide range of projects; and
- Conducting Setout calculations, plan drafting and data processing duties using specialised software.
The successful candidates for the Cadastral Surveyor roles will be tertiary qualified and appropriately registered (or eligible for QLD registration) in Surveying, and have considerable work experience in construction and land development projects. Additionally you'll require excellent skills in using a diverse range of surveying equipment, technologies and software, including GPS, Robotic Total Stations, AutoCAD, SurvaCAD and 12D.
Applicants for the Graduate Surveyor positions must hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Surveying and be eligible for registration without undertaking further study. A good working knowledge of AutoCAD will be highly advantageous, as will prior experience in using relevant surveying equipment and associated technologies / programs.
Landmark Consulting is seeking applications from professional, self-motivated and autonomous candidates, who can effectively complete a wide range of surveying duties with minimal supervision. You'll be well organised and have excellent problem solving skills and demonstrate the ability to use initiative managing competing tasks and meeting deadlines.
You'll have well developed communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to liaise confidently and professionally with clients, Engineers, Architects and Landmark Consulting staff of all levels. Importantly, you'll enjoy teamwork and be able to effectively collaborate with surveying and planning specialists in your work.
Due to the nature of these roles, candidates should be physically fit and enjoy working outdoors. You'll also require a C-Class Driver's Licence.
