About the Opportunity
Big Fat Smile has an exciting opportunity for a Certified Supervisor / Early Childhood Teacher to work in their newly renovated childcare centre in Rosehill, NSW.
Reporting to the Centre Director, you will be responsible for assisting in providing children's services including the planning and delivery of a stimulating education programme.
More specifically, your key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Supporting the Director in the day to day operation of the Centre;
- Contributing to the care, education and well being of each child in the Centre;
- Supporting the Director in service marketing and evaluation;
- Being accountable to families regarding the service provided to children;
- Demonstrating a cooperative, professional relationship with all staff and families; and
- Meeting contemporary standards regarding the optimal care and education of children.
To be successful, you will have a degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a Certified Supervisor Certificate. Importantly, you'll have strong working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and will be committed to an inclusive curriculum.
Big Fat Smile is looking for an effective and demonstrated leader who has excellent communication skills including the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and families. Additionally, you'll have outstanding skills in team building and will be able to model effective early childhood practice.
In addition, you will have current First Aid certification, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training and a Clear Working with Children Check.
