About Your Role

Kookaburra Educational Resources is actively seeking their next Sales Representative / Agent, who can bring their drive to succeed and ability to meet targets to the sales team. You'll be able to choose between a salary based or a commission based role. These roles are based in Central Coast and Lake Macquarie. As such, you will be required to live and work in these areas.

In this highly customer-focused role, you will be responsible for ensuring the continued growth (organic and new) of the business, while meeting targets. You'll also be the main point of contact for customers, helping to ensure repeat business.

More specifically, your day-to-day responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

Building strong rapport with existing clients and providing excellent customer service;
Developing and expanding the existing client base;
Identifying key marketing initiatives and putting them into practice;
Attending conferences and training sessions to present and promote new and existing product lines; and
Producing sales results to drive the designated area forward.

Who We Are Looking For

You'll be a motivated, tenacious and driven professional with a desire to excel in your field. As a highly personable individual with a passion for sales and customer service, you won't shy away from striking up a conversation with anyone, or to demonstrate and present a wide variety of products. You'll have adept oral and written communication skills and will be a true people person.

You'll be a good listener, who can predict solutions based on customers' needs. With well-honed interpersonal, leadership and negotiation skills, you'll build relationships – both internally and externally – in this unique role.

This position is highly mobile and the successful candidate will need to supply their own vehicle and home office. Administration will be conducted through head office who will facilitate purchasing, distribution, accounts management and marketing, all of which will enable you to focus on delivering sales and exemplary service.

Please Note: As this is a regional sales role, you will be required to live and work in these areas.
