About the Opportunity
If you're an enthusiastic and customer focused people person with strong sales aptitude and a desire to move out of a job and into a career, Ignite Travel Group has a number of exciting opportunities for Travel Sales Consultants to join their team at Broadbeach, on a full-time permanent contract basis.
This is a fun, variety-packed role in which it will be your responsibility to sell holiday packages from incoming enquiries. Destinations currently include Hawaii, Thailand, Fiji, Bali, Malaysia, USA and Queensland, where you will customise each package to suit the requirements of each customer. You'll be provided with all of the training you need to become an expert in travel arrangements across the board!
Ignite Travel Group is looking for individuals with fantastic customer service skills and confidence talking to clients on the phone. Ideal candidates will come from the Travel Industry, a Retail or Customer service environment, but most importantly will be your attitude, your motivation and your drive to succeed!

Day-to-day, your duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Receiving and responding to inbound phone and email enquiries;
- Making calls to customers who have enquired on our online enquiry system;
- Discussing travel arrangements with customers;
- Providing a desirable option with associated costs;
- Checking Resort and Airline availability, and booking these arrangements; and
- Receiving payment and managing the client's account.
It will be beneficial, though not essential, to have a background within the Travel sector, or experience using reservations/travel booking programs such as Amadeus although full training will be provided.
