About the Opportunity

Currently, we are looking for a long term CNC Machinist to be a part of our Tooling Division team in our Windsor, Ontario location.

The successful candidate will be working with and reporting to our 3D Machining Supervisor. In this position, you will be working an average of 50 hours a week with shifts running from Monday to Friday and half-days on Saturdays.

Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Using WorkNC software to develop tool paths to machine components;
  • Performing 3+2 machining operations;
  • Using FCS and other fixturing systems to create a stable working holding arrangement for work piece;
  • Performing basic machine maintenance;
  • Running multiple machines as required;
  • Programming a default set-up to allow unattended operations; and
  • Contributing to “Lean Manufacturing” initiatives.

The successful candidate must have at least 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist. It is also required that you have previous training and practice of Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) and basic Microsoft Windows/Office skills. Previous manufacturing mold experience and work experience with WorkNC will be considered an asset.
