About the Opportunity
A unique opportunity has arisen for a passionate Loan Processing Officer to join the team at Genius Loan Solutions, based in Kogarah, Sydney. This is a full time role, working 9-5 Monday to Friday.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the existing client base as well as developing new business opportunities.
Your primary responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Completing loan submissions;
- Providing customer service to clients;
- Performing credit process duties and administrative tasks;
- Ensuring settlement occurs for all submitted loans;
- Following up on deals in the pipeline; and
- Building and maintaining relationships with sales, solicitors and third parties.
Working directly with the CEO, this is a key role for the organisation, as such, Genius Loan Solutions is seeking an ambitious individual who has proven experience in banking and finance, particularly in mortgage processing, or work experience as a relationship manager. Candidates who additionally hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline will be highly regarded, but this is not essential.
Importantly will be your ability to work autonomously, with minimal direction, and as part of a small team environment. Your understanding of the industry will enable you to 'hit the ground running'; and your drive, determination and enthusiasm will propel you to achieve your goals!

Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus will be pivotal to your success, and essential to being considered for this great opportunity. Your interpersonal skills will allow you to liaise with staff, clients, and other industry professionals and establish, develop and maintain strong relationships. Additionally, your problem solving skills and solutions focused mindset will be crucial when dealing with challenging situations and complex troubleshooting.
