About the Organisation
Camberwells Potteries Roofing PTY LTD (CPR) is Melbourne’s largest re-roofing organisation, specialising in roofing and re-roofing for all residential projects, including home owners, owner builders, and small, medium and large builders.
CPR was originally established in the mid-1930s as a manufacturer of terracotta roof tiles. In the 1970s, the organisation progressed to become a distributer of CSR Monier//Wunderlich, Boral/Monotor, and Nubrik roofing tiles. After being purchased by the current owners in 1987, the organisation specialised in roofing and re-roofing, major renovation projects and owner/builder projects to become the influential company they are today.
With some of the major projects including the Commonwealth Golf Club, Newman College, Monet Albert Primary School, and the Seamen’s Mission Building, CPR has an impressive portfolio of success behind them, with a dedication to achieving excellence in all that they do.
About the Opportunity
CPR has an exciting opportunity for a Roofing Estimator to join their dynamic team in Melbourne, on a full-time basis. As a Roofing Estimator, you’ll be responsible for servicing existing clients, providing expert estimations to clients and assisting the General Manager in maintaining quotes to prospective new business clients.
Your duties may include, but will not be limited to:
- Carrying out roof repair and replacement estimations;
- Addressing servicing enquiries via phone;
- Following up on quotes for prospective new clients;
- Customer service duties including greeting and assisting clients at the company showroom as required.
CPR is seeking an individual with experience in the building industry, particularly the roofing or renovating industries. Experience working in roofing estimation or labour would be highly regarded. Applicants with experience in using Applicad and Nearmaps (or other satellite based mapping systems) will be viewed favourably.
You will have exceptional communication skills alongside impeccable phone manner, as this position will include B2B client relationship building. You’ll be a reliable, hardworking and personable individual who is eager to learn and progress your skills within the roofing industry.
