About the Opportunity
Thanks to ongoing growth, Madison Marcus currently have an opportunity for a passionate Senior Associate to join their firm in their Sydney CBD office, specialising in the area of property law.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced legal practitioner where you will be responsible for managing and expanding an existing client base of high profile clients, while also providing mentoring to junior solicitors to help build the firms capacity. This role will provide an opportunity to work on exciting matters for high profile clients in both Australia and internationally.
Reporting to the companies directors, your main responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
- Managing the existing client base and building rapport to ensure ongoing relationship growth;
- Providing legal advice to clients in relation to real estate transactional matters;
- Advising clients on commercial and regulatory implications of transactions;
- Mentoring, training and provision of support to junior lawyers under your direction; and
- Providing feedback and reporting to Divisional Partner and Directors
To be considered for this role you will hold relevant legal qualifications, and will be admitted (or elligible for admittance) to practice law in NSW. You will have a strong demonstrated history of managing a diverse range of property, real estate and commercial legal matters, and will be confident in mentoring and supporting junior staff.
With an excellent eye for detail, and strong communication skills, you will be able to not only provide accurate and effective legal advice, but also maintain and build strong rapport with existing and new clients. Your leadership abilities and interpersonal skills will also enable you to foster strong mentoring relationships with junior staff.
Your business acumen, drive, and enthusiasim will ensure you always strive for the best outcomes for your clients, enabling you to deliver results that not only provide exceptional customer service, but sound financial decision making.
